Due for launch at this Munich High End Show 2019 (May 9th to 12th) is the highly anticipated new behometh integrated amplifier from Vitus Audio, the SIA-030.
Vitus have kept a lot of the information under wraps for its grand unveiling, but what we do know that it is housed in a chassis similar in size to one of their Masterpiece Power Amps and it will weigh in at around 56kg, so it’s no lightweight!
Vitus have taken their time with the SIA-030 and have been in no rush to release it, they have spent the past 12/18 months fine-tuning it to perfection.
The SIA-030 will have 3 x XLR inputs and 2 x RCA inputs as standard. There will be an option to have a DAC/Streamer and/or a Phono Stage as well.
Offering 30 watts per channel in Class A mode and 200 watts in AB mode the SIA-030 will be capable of driving any speaker on the planet with ease, featuring a 2.2 kVA custom designed transformer it will offer huge levels of current delivery.
We’ll be at Munich for the duration of the show and we’ll be posting more and soon as we get to see/hear it! To say I’m excited is a bit of an understatement!
The SIA-030 is not a replacement for the highly coveted SIA-025, it sits above it in the Signature range. The SIA-025 will remain in production, think of the SIA-030 as its bigger brother! Pricing has yet to be confirmed.
