The Audio Therapy take...

The Max T launched a couple of year ago now and it served as a great upgrade for Entreq Ground Box users. This post has served as Entreq’s reference point and foundation for the development of a complete range of Max posts.

As well as being designed to work on their Ground Boxes, they can be also used on the Corepoint units that are supplied with every Primer Core and Delphius cables.

Containing a specific configuration of materials built around Tungsten, Max T is the principle behind every Max post they have developed.

Max T takes Tungsten as its principal active material. A dense, high-melting-point metal with distinctive magnetic and electrical properties, Tungsten has become one of Entreq’s defining materials, used across their current range of ground boxes and at the heart of the Max post range.

Wherever a Max T is used, Tungsten’s particular contribution to detail, to depth, to the sense of weight and dimension in the music becomes quite apparent.

In theory each Max post is an upgrade on the model before it in the range, and the Max T as the first post was what Entreq consider their reference.

When connected to a ground box it provides plenty of energy, much of it in the lower midrange and bass, while staying smooth and warm through the upper midrange and highs. It also brings a clear improvement in 3D presentation and sound stage. Although it is important to stress that every system is different and will respond in its own way, how the Max T behaves for you is something only your system can tell you.

Like every Entreq Max post the Max T contains a specific configuration of materials housed in a wooden body, designed to influence the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit or a ground box. The wooden body is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality, letting the active materials inside do their work without interference from the housing itself.
