Many people have wanted to get into the range of Entreq Interconnects but have found the range of ground cables and ground boxes daunting and costly. Say hello to Entreq Primer Pro

The Primer Pro is Entreq’s entry level range, where they have used technology developed further up the range to give people of big flavour of what is possible with Entreq.

Demonstrations of the Primer Pro range of cables also go down well, I would go as far to say they are potentially re-writing the rulebook at the price points.

All of the Primer Pro cables come included with a dedicated ground cable and ground box which has been tuned specifically for the Primer Pro cables.

By removing the unwanted pollutants from the cable/signal path and draining them to the ground box the noise floor is lowered, dynamics increase and you get a more natural, organic sound with better flow, rhythm and timing.

The difference is not subtle!

 Characteristics of Entreq Cable Design

1 Separate cable for positive and negative signals

2 Asymmetrical design

3 Positive and negative cables are spun clockwise and anticlockwise respectively.

4 Adapted lengths to minimise the antenna effect.

5 DIC Dedicated contacts so the area on the mass of the contact areas correspond to the cable area.

6 Wood in the contact framework. Non-magnetic and non-conductive.

7 Only pure copper or/and silver in the signal paths. No alloys,

8 Drain wire instead of shielding in order to connect to a pure earth point (External Earth Drain System)

9 Cotton covering instead of synthetic materials

10 EEDS External Earth Drain System
This entails the shielding / drain wire not being connected to the device’s negative pole, but is connected to another external earth point (a ground box!)
