Due in over the next 2 weeks or so will be the brand new Entreq Silver Tellus Infinity Ground Box.
It is the same physical size as the original Silver Tellus Ground Box, but it has much more effective at grounding in your system. The original Silver Tellus had 4 connections on it, all of which were shared across the ground plane. The meant it was very effective, but was not much use if you wanted to ground something sensitive in isolation.
On the new Silver Tellus Infinity Entreq have been to keep the 4 posts, but they have made one of them independant which is excellent news. It means you can ground your amp and dac on the main 3 shared posts and you can ground your Entreq USB cable is isolation on the 4th post or you could use to ground your – the options are almosr limitless and depend entirely on your system, but this adds a new level of flexibility to grounding.
One thing which is important to point out, you cannot use a single Silver Tellus Infinity to ground negative speaker outputs.
The Entreq range of ground boxes are designed to remove noise and pollutants present in the signal path. By removing these unwanted pollutants we lower the noise floor and subsequently improve the performance of the connected product. This improves dynamics, detail retrieval whilst remaining natural and organic in presentation.
In reality you can connect anything in your system to a ground box – integrated amp, phono stage, dac, streamer, router, network switch.
You still have the option on the Silver Tellus Infinity to further improve performance by adding a K2 or Everest Binding Post. All customers who have added an Everest to their ground boxes have passed comment at how effective they are.
