Fyne Audio F1-8S Loudspeakers

The F1-8S is the first floorstanding speaker from Fyne’s flaghship F1 Series

It is based around the popular stand mount, the F1-8 stand mount and it shares the same footprint and drive unit arrangement, they are not a small speaker, but they are not overly imposing standing at 1086mm tall (they are 335mm wide and 445mm deep)

The F1-8S is cut from the same cloth as the 2 large floorstanding models, (the F1-10S and F1-12S), the same technology and expertise is employed here, just in a more affordable and room friendly package.

Combined with the twin cavity BassTrax ported cabinet, the F1-8S produces an enhanced bass reaching down to 30Hz. Featuring a 25mm magnesium dome compression tweeter, the 8” IsoFlare driver offers a seamless, time aligned HF response to over 34kHz for ultimate realism and listener engagement. The F1-8S’s high sensitivity of 91dB means that they aren’t particularly difficult to drive.

As with all of the F1 models the F1-8S are designed, hand built and hand finished at Fyne Audio’s UK manufacturing facility and the lacquered burr walnut finish of all of the F1 really makes them stand out, it is a stunning finish and for the money the level of performance on offer here is quite special.
