Gold Note IS-1000 Integrated Amplifier

The Gold Note IS-1000 is an integrated amplifier with an on board DAC / Streamer and MM / MC Phono Stage

Simply add a pair of loudspeakers and a network connection and you good to go for a high performing yet simple system.

The IS-1000 offers 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms.

In terms of analogue connectivity there is 1 pair of XLR inputs and 2 pairs of RCA inputs.

The internal DAC offers 3 x optical inputs, 1 x coaxial input  and a single USB type A connection (for flash memory only), there is also an Ethernet socket and Wi-Fi.

Once the IS-1000 has an internet connection you can stream Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Spotify, vTuner. It is Roon Ready as well and is compatible with MQA. If you have a Melco you can connect the IS-1000 to the Player port and you can also serve music to the IS-1000 from a conventional NAS drive as well so there are plenty of options for streaming music.

In performance terms the IS-1000 is a lot of amplifier for the money, it offers plenty of power and current and always goes down very well when demonstrated.

There are 2 different versions of the IS-1000 available.

IS-1000 with MM/MC Phono Stage £4400

IS-1000 Deluxe with MM/MC Phono Stage £5200

The difference between the 2 version is quite simply, the Deluxe version of the IS-1000 uses better quality DAC chips (Burr Brown PCM1792A),  the amplification is identical across both models, as is the phono stage. The Deluxe is the most popular mode out of the 2.

Both versions of the IS-1000 offer adjustable damping as well so you have the ability to closely match your speakers to the IS-1000 to help get the very best from your system.
