Gold Note PA-10 EVO Power Amplifier

The Gold Note PA-10 EVO is the replacment for the original PA-10. It is a stereo power amplifier rated at 140 watts per channel into 8 ohms  Housed in the same sized compact chassis as the DS-10 EVO streaming DAC together they make a formidable system for the money.

The PA-10 EVO features both RCA and XLR inputs and has a unique adjustable damping factor so you can get the very best match to your loudspeakers.

Better still the PA-10 allows bridging, so you could buy a second one over time and configure them to run as mono power amps where the power output rises to 250 watts into 8 ohms

There is more than enough power in a single PA-10 EVO to drive most loudspeakers and the performance is excellent, typical Gold Note – wonderfully open and transparent for the price, but never aggressive or strident, just on the warmer side of the neutral. Connect up a second PA-10 EVO, run them in mono and the performance takes a significant step forward, much greater power and current delivery the presentation has even more weight, scale and simply sounds more effortless, it is a very cost effective upgrade for sure.

Please Note – The PA-10 EVO cannot be matched to the PA-10, but it is fully compatible with all other Gold Note electronics, pre-amplifiers and valve output stages.
