The Melco N100 is a compact model using the same attractive, high quality casework as the D100 CD Drive and S100 Switch, the N100 is a fully fledged Melco in terms of both performance and feature set and is their entry level model
You can confidently use the N100 in a serious system and it would not be outclassed and it would be equally at home on a desktop connected to a USB headphone amplifier.
The N100 is comes with a 2TB HDD and is a certified Roon Endpoint.
The N100 sits on your network as a storage device for your digital music collections and can serve it to either a USB-DAC via a dedicated USB output or it can serve music to a Network Audio Player via the second Ethernet Port (the Player Port)
It is easy to control via a number of control apps (depending on how you use the N100 as outlined above) and with Minimserver 2 and SongKong onboard it is very easy to optimise your music library so it easy to browse with fully correct and consistent meta data.

If you purchase any music from either Qobuz or HighResAudio providing you are signed into your account on the Melco all purchases will automatically downloaded to the Melco when you complete checkout – it’s a great feature.
You can back up your music library without any fuss, connect a USB hard drive to one of the USB sockets and select start back up in the menu.
If you already own an N100 adding a Plixir Elite BDC Power Supply is a really worthwhile upgrade, the N100 sounds great by default but this improved PSU delivers a really nice uplift in performance.
We have the Melco N100 on permanent demonstration and home loan is no problem either, part exchange is welcome.
