Description

The Everest 8000 is the flagship power conditioner in the Shunyata range and is the culmination of all of their expertise and knowledge wrapped up in one stunning package.

The Everest is not an inexpensive component and as a result it won’t be for everyone, but once you hear what an Everest is capable of delivering, even in a system which be modest in terms of cost relative to what the Everest costs, there is no going back.

It allows you do hear your system perform at the very best of its abilities and impact it can make is quite an eye opener.

From Shunyata…….

The Everest 8000 combines patented innovations from Shunyata Research’s critically acclaimed Hydra Triton and Hydra Typhon designs with transformative technologies developed from its heralded medical division products. From a stunning form-follows-function tower design, to its inside-out engineering, the Everest represents the pinnacle within Shunyata Research’s line of power conditioners.

Over the past 25 years, Shunyata Research has earned a reputation for producing the finest power distribution systems in the high-end audiophile market.  From providing clean power for James Guthrie’s re-master of Dark Side of the Moon, or resolving subtle heart signals in medical imaging systems, Shunyata Research products have consistently provided transformational results.  With the legacy of award winning products, Shunyata Research designer Caelin Gabriel set about combining 25 years of experience and scientific innovation, into a single product, incorporating everything he’s learned about power-system design.

Designer, Caelin Gabriel considers the Everest to be the crowning achievement in a career devoted to advancing the state-of-the-art in electrical power delivery systems for military, medical, audio, video and mastering applications.

A C19 power cable is required to feed the Denali itself, preferably one of their XC cables.

There are 5 XC power cables in the range which are as follows

Venom V10 XC £749

Delta XC £1400

Alpha XC £2300

Sigma XC £3250

Omega XC £7000

The better the power cable you use to feed the Everest the better the overall performance from the system will be, with the Everest the Omega XC and Sigma XC have proven to be the most popular cables. The Sigma XC compliments an Everest brilliantly, but the Omega XC (which was designed specifically to partner the Everest) is the obvious choice if budget permits – the combination of the 2 is as a signifcant as a major component upgrade, I’d go as far to say you’ve have not heard your system properly until you’ve experienced it connected to an Everest, it helps the entire system take a back seat to the music.

No such weasel words are needed with the Shunyata Research Everest 8000 power distributor; it makes your system sound better
no matter the system and regardless of where you live. It’s a game-raiser and a game-changer in one.”
