Athena Equipment Support

It bears no real resemblance to any other equipment stands that are out there in the market, even though there are ones that may visually look a little similar! As well as housing your hi-fi equipment it has been designed to tackle a range of specific problems no other equipment stand manufacturer takes into account.

The end result is a system that performs on a much higher level, with a dramatically lower noise floor and all of the benefits that brings to the presentation, such as increased resolution, more space and texture with a much more natural rendition of the musicians you are listening to!

It is these specific areas that the Athena is looking to address:

Minimal metal construction to reduce the interaction of different metals and their subsequent uncontrolled field effects on the signals themselves.
Naturally damped, multiple constrained layered construction – not random bits of wood machined in to the shape of shelves –  also a completely non-magnetic material!

Anti-resonance porting within each shelf.
Active Silvernet system (entire shelf) to reduce and remove RF/RFI and other noise inducing field effects, lowering the noise floor dramatically.

Finally a Solid Silver Grounding point, found on Level 2 – 3-shelf construction, allowing the option to efficiently remove all high frequency induced field effects, leading them away to an Entreq grounding Box.

There 3 different levels of shelf performance available with the Athena

Level 1 = 3 constrained layers, 21 mm thick
Level 2 = 8 constrained layers, 28mm thick, Silvernet and Silver Ground post
Level 3 = 11 constrained layers, 49mm thick, Silvernet and Silver Ground post

All of the shelves are 50 cm deep and are available in 3 different widths, 60 cm (single), 114 cm (double) and 168 cm (triple), a custom Athena can be specified as a bespoke order.

The Athena is available is oak or walnut, the 3 different shelves do offer vastly different levels of performance, please do not assume this is just another equipment stand, the upgrade in performance on offer (especially with level 2 and 3) is bigger in some system than changing amplifiers or source components.

Standard leg heights are 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm and 35 cm
