Failure to keep the packaging may result in a null and void claim for damage.
Part Exchanged goods – Inspection. All part exchanged items need to be inspected and thoroughly tested by Audio Therapy to make sure that they are exactly as originally described and meet the valuation which they have been given.
Part Exchanged goods – Valuation. When customers part exchange equipment to pay for goods they have ordered. The customer will be asked to describe those goods in detail so that an accurate trade in value can be calculated.
It will be necessary to provide make, model, full specification, age, year of manufacture (if known), serial number, what accessories are provided and whether original packaging is included? Audio Therapy will calculate a part exchange price and valuation of your item to be traded in based on the provided information. An invoice will be created showing the price of the item being purchased and the part exchange value being offered and the price difference to pay (if required). Both parties will be in agreement with these figures.
Once Audio Therapy is in physical possession of the goods, they will be thoroughly tested and cosmetically checked. If the make, model number, item specification, age, cosmetic condition, working condition, supplied accessories, original packaging differ from what was originally described the part exchange price originally offered will be deemed null and void as the goods are not what Audio Therapy agreed to take in part exchange. These goods will be subsequently worth less on the second hand market as a result. In these circumstances Audio Therapy reserves the right to either reject the part exchange or reduce the value assigned to the item being part exchanged with a new invoice being created showing the lower part exchange. Any resultant shortfall must be met in full by the customer.
Part Exchanged goods – Faulty goods. If a part exchanged items turns out to have a fault the agreed part exchange will be deemed null and void. Audio Therapy does not accept faulty goods in part exchange, regardless of the value offered, i.e. Audio Therapy will not accept a faulty item in part exchange even if the client agrees to drop the part exchange price which they have been offered.
