Entreq Argo Power Cable

The Argo is a brand new design of power cable from Entreq, released in the November 2021.

Like the Triton above it the Argo is an all new design, with a 3-way braid, this power cable replaces the Konstantin Infinity and I’m pleased to report it pulls performance well ahead of the Konstantin and also the Challenger Infinity as well, which was the cable that was above the Konstantin Infinity in the previous range.

Fitted with Furutech NCF UK plug and IEC connector

In presentation terms it is Entreq through and through, very natural, calm and totally refined, almost a case of less is more compared to some power cables which can be very forward and almost artificial in their presentation.

The Triton and Argo Power Cables do not require connection to a ground box

This power cable is available in standard form for £2200, but it is also now available with a QSA “Violet” fuse fitted to the mains plug as an optional upgrade, this adds £550 to the price making the cable £2750. The Violet fuse costs £640 on its own. 

Changing the fuse brings about quite an improvement to what was already a capable cable for the asking price, but with the QSA fuse fitted the jump in performance easily justifies the difference in the cost and it genuinely pushes the performance of this cable to a whole new level, with greater levels of insight, detail and transparency
