We have for sale an Exogal Comet DAC

This is a standard Exogal Comet NOT the Plus, the only difference is the Plus came with a better PSU, the DAC element is the same

Supplied in original box with remote, power transformer, power cable, BNC to RCA adapter, Bluetooth antenna (this is for the remote)

Some of the internal packing is missing, but will be made good for safe shipping

RRP of the standard comet was £2500

The Comet has RCA and XLR outputs, plus a headphone output on the side, you select off the remote which output is live, only 1 output works at any one time

Digital input are USB B, Optical, AES EBU and SPDIF (on an BNC connector). There is also an analogue input which you can use if you are using the Comet as a pre-amp (it has a built in volume, which you set to max if you are not using)

The Exonet connections are proprietary connections for wiring the Comet to the Exogal Ion Power Amp, they cannot be used for anything else, they use HDMI as an interface, but they will not work on anything other than the Ion.

This is a great DAC, Exogal no longer exist as company (victim of Covid), but their products were very reliable and offered great performance, this was always a bit of giant killer and would easily see off things at 2 or 3 times the price.
