Metronome DSS 2 Network Player

The DSS2 is a network player from Metronome’s entry level ‘Digital Sharing’ range.

Once connected to your Network the DSS2 will allow you play music stored locally on your network via UPnP and it also stream online music services from Tidal, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Deezer and Internet Radio

It is also a Roon Ready Endpoint and is compatible with ‘Plays with Audirvana‘

Digital outputs are I2S, AES-EBU and RCA SPDIF, there is a USB socket as well – this is not to connect to a DAC, it is for connecting a USB stick for playback of local files.
