OePhi Immanence 2 Loudspeakers

The Immanence 2 is the speaker above the Transcendence 2, they are exactly the same size (35cm tall for reference) as the other 2 stand mount speakers and these are OePhi’s flagship standmount speaker.

The Immanence 2 uses the same bespoke Purifi mid/bass driver as the Transcendence 2,  they come without the polypropylene coating which makes the drive unit much faster and more agile, but as you can see from the images the Immanence uses  a ribbon tweeter and a large one at that.

The end result is a truly superb loudspeaker, the Immanence 2 delivers incredible levels of realism, almost unrestricted dynamics and endless resolution. The dispersion of the ribbon means a little care and effort is needed over placement and room set up and they are more demanding over the equipment you partner them with – in the demo room we have been getting magnificent results from both the Soulnote A-2 (£6300) and the Vitus RI-101 mk2 (£17000), 2 amplifiers at quite different price points but the Immanence 2 just keeps on giving as the system driving it improves.

The Immanence 2 is a speaker that will keep you up half the night exploring familiar music for hitherto unrealised insights, nuances and textures. They furnish a spacious, structured soundscape with a real sense of depth and image solidity.
