Shunyata Research Everest X
Shunyata previewed their brand new flagship power conditioner the Everest X at Munich High End this year, there were actually 2 of them in use at the show, one on static display in their meeting room, but the second one was in use, being demonstrated in the Wadax Room with their Studio Player, Power Supply and Clock.
Visually this new model doesn’t look much different to the original Everest 8000, other than the badge on the front panel you couldn’t tell them apart, but under the hood this new model is vastly different to the outgoing model.
Shunyata has been developing several new technologies which are implemented in their new X series cables and some of that design work has been developed further and carried over to the Everest X.
The original Everest is the best power conditioner out there for quite some time now, it’s one of those products where every demonstration results in a customer placing an order and this new model pushes things even further, this isn’t a subtle shift, but more of a giant leap forwards.
