Introducing the Wadax Studio Player Collection to Audio Therapy

Wadax are a Spanish brand, based in Madrid and since their first product release in 2011 they have become a company positioned right at the cutting edge of digital technology and performance with their founder and chief designer Javier Guadalajara at the helm.

The Wadax Studio Player integrates their famed technology into a single chassis source component, offering CD / SACD playback, streaming with Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and Spotify Connect, UPnP, Roon and DAC for incredible performance and unparalleled convenience.

The digital to analogue circuitry that is employed within their Studio Player is the same as that used in the flagship Wadax Atlantis Reference DAC. Last year in Munich 2 further products were released to further enhance the already incredible performance of the Studio Player with the launch of the Studio Clock and Studio Power Supply.

At the inaugural Vienna High End last week Wadax announced the arrival of a 2 further products to complete the Studio Collection range of products with a dedicated Studio Transport and Studio DAC. I was invited to the press release of these 2 new products on Friday morning and after several conversations and listening sessions over the past few months I’ve committed to become a Wadax dealer for their Studio Collection products.

I’m starting with the Studio Player which is priced at £38,500 and I’ve no doubt the other Studio Collection pieces will follow in due course. The Studio Player offers truly world class performance at its price point and the addition of the other product allow the performance to further evolve over time.
