OePhi Immanence 2.5 Loudspeakers

The Immanence 2.5 is OePhi’s final step before you reach their flagship Reference 3.5 model. The Immanence 2.5 share the same sized cabinet as the Ascendence 2.5 and Transcendence 2.5.

They share the same ribbon tweeter and Purifi mid-bass driver as the Immanence 2 standmount, but here we have an additional Purifi bass driver.

These Purifi drive units come without the polypropylene coating on them which makes the drive unit much faster and more agile.

The 2.5 simply takes the brilliant performance from the Immanence 2 and build upon it in every way, greater scale, improved bass response with incredible dynamics and remarkably low levels of distortion.

Immanence 2.5 brings incredible levels of realism, almost unrestricted dynamics and endless resolution. As with the stand mount the dispersion of the ribbon means a little care and effort is needed over placement and room set up and due to the revealing nature they are more demanding over the equipment you partner them with.

Detail is nothing if it is not presented in a coherent manner, timing is critical and this is something that Joakim has managed to deliver superbly in this deceptively simple looking loudspeaker. If you really want to hear the magic in the music, the Oephi Immanence 2.5 is a direct route.
