Shunyata Everest X new shape!

Shunyata Research have launched a horizontal version of the Everest X Power Conditioner.

The vertical form of the Everest has proven to be very popular over the past few years, but there has been the odd customer who simply hasn’t had the space to accommodate the upright version next to their equipment stand. A Typhon T2 has been a viable solution for many, but that only has 3 outlets so isn’t a solution for those with larger systems.

Shunyata have listened to customer feedback and they just released an Everest X that can be installed on a shelf in a rack taking up no additional floor space.

It offers the same world class performance levels as the upright Everest X, this new version has even greater flexibility as it has 8 UK sockets on the rear, the original Everest X has 7 UK sockets.

This new unit is shipping now and is priced at £15,750.

The original Everest 8000 is still a great sounding product, but the jump up to the X is not a subtle one, quite the opposite in the fact. Shunyata have given the Everest X a significant overhaul with this new model with the addition of Shunyata’s proprietary technology such as TAPc and HARP they have really pulled the performance ahead of the previous model. What is great is that the developments have been refined and trickled down to more affordable models like the new Delta X and the X cables in general with Alpha X, Sigma X and Omega X

Robert Harley’s recent review of the Everest X and Shunyata’s new X models concluded with “……….if forced to sum up that improvement in one word, it would be “clarity.” The X components seemed to snap the music into focus and reveal myriad aspects of the performance that were previously obscured. The heightened impression of instruments existing in three-dimensional space is the X series’ calling card. Replacing the original versions with the X versions took my system’s performance to the next level with each upgrade. When deployed together, they play a huge role in my system’s spectacular sound.
