Soulnote A-2 ver2 Now on Demonstration

Soulnote have gone down really well here at Audio Therapy in the two years we have been representing the brand. They have been an almost permanent resident in the demonstration room and I’ll thrilled to announce that the first version 2 model has made its debut this afternoon with the A-2 ver2 Integrated Amplifier.

The original A-2 was certainly no slouch and offered incredible performance for its asking price of £6,300. Ver2 has seen a modest increase to £6,900, but performance has taken a much bigger leap forward than this price change would suggest. Visually, this model has had a bit of facelift compared to the outgoing model, and it now shares more in common with the flagship A-3 from a design point of view.

Sonically, it possesses all of Soulnote’s standout traits – invisibility, naturalness, timing, and sure-footedness, but everything has been taken up another level with this new model.

Power output is rated at a healthy 160 watts per channel and, whilst it is immensely powerful, it exudes a level of sweetness. It’s an AB amplifier but has all of the allure and charm of a Class A design.
